What was the highlight of Mary's home
Some minor issues but ok
Good sized beds, decent bathroom, washing equipment and near to the MRT station- however you are about 30 minutes ride outside of Taipei city centre. The location is good if you are planning to go to the Beitou hot springs though.
- The lights in the room don’t turn off at night which is very annoying unless you have a sleeping mask (beds do have blinds but they don’t block out all of the light. - the staff can’t speak English. They’re nice but you will be communicating via google translate on an iPad if you’re not a mandarin speaker. It wasn’t a problem but if you needed help or had any special requirements or questions it could be a bit of a problem. - also there is no breakfast offered. Some reviews mentioned McDonalds vouchers but it seems like they’ve stopped doing those now. Only came here as there was nowhere else available so can’t say I was disappointed
